During his college career Robert worked at a local Emporia tax preparation company for 4 years and helped to supervise the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program sponsored by the university. While preparing taxes over his college career Robert gained valuable knowledge in agriculture, ranching, rental real estate, and other small businesses. From college he was hired on at Community Bank of Wichita, LLC. where he helped to analyze various clients net worth and the future income of businesses for loan approval. After a short time in the banking industry he moved to BKD, LLP an accounting firm based out of Springfield, MO with an office in Wichita, KS. There he performed the role of staff accountant and was given duties in both tax preparation and audit fieldwork. On May 1, 2010 he came to work for Robert D. Carr, CPA as an accountant. He has prepared the business for electronic preparation and filing, which will be required by the IRS for the 2012 tax season. On August 1, 2011, he offically took over the business of Robert D. Carr, CPA formerly ran by Bobby "Robert" Dean Carr.
